The Reach 1 - Teach 1 story began in 2006 when Carolyn Ryberg received a letter from a woman she had become friends with during her experience in federal prison.  She asked if Carolyn could help her with a new Bible.  Carolyn obliged gladly and sent a NIV Life Application Study Bible with their full name inscribed on it.  More letters started arriving from others desiring Christian discipleship and thirsting for the Word of God. It was clear that through the Bible each woman was being transformed.  Many letters spoke of the gratitude for "study format" found in the Life Application Bible. Carolyn spent many hours in prayer seeking God's will and guidance on how to move forward.  Over time, the vision became clear as a ministry called "Reach 1 - Teach 1" was born.  With continuing growth, the ministry has been formally named and is now a part of the ministry program at Peace Church in Eagan, MN.
